what is this?

this tool lets you investigate the prominence of different sites as they appear in the search results for a set of keywords. you can examine the significance of different keywords and you can track how well different sites perform in relation to competitors and associates.

how to use this tool

the keywords and sites you're interested in are kept together in a project. the scanner takes a project and sends the keywords to a search engine. when they appear in the scanner's results the sites are highlighted in red or blue. the scanner visits each project once a day so you can see how the results change as time goes by. you can use this to track how your site's prominence changes over time. use the scanner tab to investigate keywords. use the projects tab to edit your projects.

marketing people; look for keywords that broadly define a sector you're interested in. track the visibility of your competitors and associates over time and look for new companies moving into that sector.
